The Library Commons provides your best starting place for finding resources for your assignments. We have links to peer-reviewed, scholarly databases, and authoritative web resources for your programme of study. We also provide you with learning support for searching databases, using ​APA​American Psychological Association citation style, and tutoring services.

Scholarly Databases

The Library has access to three separate databases: ​EBSCO​Provider of research databases, e-journals, magazine subscriptions, ebooks and discovery services, ​ProQuest​Tool to find scholarly journals, books, video, audio, newspapers, and more. and ​SAGE​An academic journal publisher covering a wide array of topics.. Searching Google Scholar

While not integrated into the Yorkville Library, Google Scholar is an excellent way to find authoritative resources online for academic research.  You are not guaranteed full-text access, but you can identify more academic resources than in a regular Google search.
